Pastel on vellum paper, 9×12”
This piece started with several messy pink and red concentric circles at the center with a lavender square inside them. Next I drew triangles around the circles to form a five point star. I scribbled in some red, pink, brown, some greens, blues, yellows and finally some black in the center of the square. Then I blended everything, except the very center.
This is from my sketchbook and I may use it as an idea for a larger work in the future.
